Best Parking Site Review Sedo Vs. Namedrive

I did some research on this domain parking thing and found out that not all parking services are created equal. If you are thinking of parking some names read on. Like with anything, those business' that are trying to gain market share are going to offer something extra to gain customers and get the word out. Namedrive is that company. I parked a number of domains at Sedo when I heard about this free parking service a while back. I thought "great, free service, free money, awesome lets go." So I parked a number of names and waited and watched to see the cash roll in. Then I started seeeing payouts of .05 to .11 per click, very low. I was not impressed. This has to mean based solely on what I have seen from other ad services that the revenue share must be as low as 30%. If you have looked into this at all, this is where I say do not do godaddy's pay to park model. It is a total rip off and must have been created because they think there are suckers out ther being born as we speak. It is also serves as a deterrent basically, see godaddy automatically parks all pages that are not hosted or used in some way. They make ALL of the money on these parked domains so they must figure they don't want to share it.

how to do domain park cash

  1. Find a domain you already have or register one that is really going to be a winner.
  2. Choose which site is going to park your domain at. Do your reasearch here because not all domain parkers are equal. Godaddy.com is actually charging you to park your domain name! Since godaddy automatically parks your domain name and makes the money off of it if you don't point the dns somwhere they must figure they are losing money if you park it and want to charge you for this service. Crazy!
  3. Create some keyords for your parked domain. Most free parking solutions allow you to pick a template and add some meta data for the search engines. Make sure you do this.
  4. Kick back and watch the pennies roll in. You may not get rich right off the bat or ever really, but the general feeling is if you can make the registration money out of a domain, about 7.95 a year, you are getting the domain for free. If you can make a few extra bucks great.
